Frequently Asked Questions

What makes 7Tones different from other art classes?

At 7 Tones Studio, we teach art organically.
Instead of following a rigid curriculum, we reveal the creative process within each lesson—allowing space for curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving.

Our classes remain flexible so that every student can find their own way of working, thinking, and expressing. We respond to individual learning styles, interests, and rhythms, rather than asking students to fit into a preset path.

Our instructors are trained artists from diverse backgrounds, united by a passion for teaching. The result is work that is thoughtful, personal, and uniquely each student’s own.

01

What is the age range and how many students are in a class?

7 Tones Studio offers classes for a wide range of ages—from 5-year old young children to adults. Each class is designed for a specific age group, and full details can be found on our Classes & Passes page.

We prioritize small class sizes to ensure meaningful guidance and attention.

Most classes have around 5 students, though numbers may vary depending on the program.

02

Are students supplied the materials?

Part of the materials will be covered, but we will recommend different materials to students, based on their own unique needs and skill sets.

03

Can I register in the middle of the term?

Yes. In most cases, students may join at any time of the year.

Because our classes are small and highly individualized, we are usually able to accommodate mid-term registrations. If a class has already started a longer project, we will simply assess whether joining at that point would be a good fit and ensure the student can transition smoothly.

Once enrolled, we encourage students to attend regularly and stay consistent with the schedule, as continuity supports both learning and creative growth.

04

05

How should the student come prepared for class? Should they bring a snack?

Students are required to bring their sketchbooks and materials, depending on their class, and snacks are allowed with moderation.

How does registration work?

Once you’ve decided on a program, please complete the application form in person.

We kindly ask that students enroll at least one week before their first class, as this allows us to prepare materials and ensure a smooth start.

After a program pass or session expires, you may purchase additional classes without re-registering.

From time to time, promotions and discounts are shared through our email newsletter—be sure to subscribe to stay informed.
