Intro to Art

Ages 5-7

For Kids who LOVE drawing and painting and are curious to learn new techniques with new mediums. Gain knowledge of the creative uses of color, line and composition, explore artists’ secret techniques, plus experiment with different tools and diverse mediums. Develop your artistic skills to further express your imagination!

Art Fundamentals

Ages 8-11

This class is aimed to build comprehensive grounding in various artistic foundations. It is the bridge course between Intro to Art class to Drawing and Painting class, in this class students learn to make artistic choices and start to undertake intricate tasks.

Cartooning & Animation

Ages 10-15

Learn the method of anime drawing and cartooning with a professional animator! Explore different styles of anime and cartoon art; learn the fundamentals of drawing facial and figurative proportions, costume and background design, as well as start creating your very own anime avatar. This series of classes is designed for aspiring artists enthusiastic about cartoons and anime!

Drawing & Painting

Ages 12-17

Learn to use pencil and color to bring your artwork to life, to suggest movement, express mood, and personal vision. Working from still life and personal photographs students will have an opportunity to learn about color and painting techniques, and focus on the development of individual style and theme.

Adult Classes

Ages 18+

Have fun exploring your creativity while learning to paint with the medium of your choice, oil, acrylic, water colour, mixed media etc...
Working from an observational still life format, or your own selected photos, lessons focus on learning about the methods and materials of drawing and painting.
